FALL LEAGUES

PEE WEE FOOTBALL - Ages 8 - 11 years old, Registration ends on August 15. Fee $20.00

FALL SOCCER - Girls and Boys Ages 5 - 12 years old, Registration ends on August 15. Fee $20.00

PEE WEE CHEERLEADER - Girls Ages 8 - 11 years old, Registration ends on August 15. No registration Fee. Cheerleaders will be responsible for the cost of their uniform.

Punt, Pass and Kick - October 7 at Walton Wright Stadium. Ages 8-11 years old. Two divisions- Sign up at the stadium on the day of competition. No Fee.

WINTER LEAGUES

YOUTH BASKETBALL - Sign up for youth basketball will begin Monday, October 13 and end Friday, November 14. There is a $20 registration fee which includes a game jersey. Ages for the basketball league will be 6 - 14 year olds. The draft is as follows:

6 and 7 yr. olds November 17 5:00 p.m.
8 and 9 yr. olds November 18 5:00 p.m.
10 and 11 yr. olds November 20 5:00 p.m.
12-14yr. olds December 17 5:00 p.m.
Girls 10 - 12 yr. olds November 19 5:00 p.m.

FREE THROW CONTEST - A free throw contest for Sheffield children ages 6 - 14 years old will be held Saturday, January 17. Registration is free and begins January 5, 2009

SPRING LEAGUES

DIXIE GIRLS SOFTBALL - Sign up for Dixie Girls Softball ages 9-15, begins February 2nd and will end March 6, 2009. Age control date is May 1 of the current year. A birth certificate is required for all participants. Fee: $25.00 which includes a team shirt.

DIXIE YOUTH BASEBALL - Dixie Boys Baseball is for ages 13-14 years olds. Sign up begins March 16, 2009 and ends April 10. The fee is $35.00 and includes a game jersey, cap, socks, and insurance. A minimum of 12 boys living in or attending school in Sheffield will be required to franchise a team.

TEE BALL - The Tee Ball League is an instructional league for boys and girls ages 4 - 6 years old. Registration begins March 9, 2009 and ends April 10, 2009. The fee is $20.00 and includes a cap and shirt. The season will begin on or around May 4, 2009. A child must turn 4 years old before May 1st. to play.

SPRING SOCCER - Registration for Spring Soccer begins Monday, February 9, 2009. The league is for boys and girls ages 5 - 7 years old. The fee is $20.00 which includes a game jersey. Deadline to register is March 6. Shin guards are required. The season will begin in April and all games are played at Avalon Park.

MEN'S CHURCH LEAGUE SOFTBALL - The organizational meeting for men's church league Softball will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at the Sheffield Recreation Center. A follow up meeting for entry fees, rosters, and to work out conflict dates will be held on March 28. Games will begin on or around April 19. Games will be played at Ollie Harris Ball Park. Fee: $300.00 per team.
